I'd like to share something about the spiritual side of your fertility that I think is important.
Sure, it's a little woo-woo to go here, but when it comes to conception we have to think about your health from all angles: mental/emotional, physical and spiritual. I'm driven to bring this stuff up because I am passionate about creating conscious parents who will raise a resilient next generation that can heal the world.
Ya, you could say I've got some big dreams.
I work with a lot of people who are trying to conceive and some common themes come up:
-how busy they are
-how over-scheduled their lives are
-and how there never seem to be enough hours in the day to do the things they need for their health
Such is the nature of our busy lives that we have a hard time finding space to care for ourselves.
But if we break this down - if there isn't enough space for you, how can there be enough space for a baby?
I'm not asking this to make you feel guilty - I'm bringing it to your attention out of pure love.
The universe (or whatever force is out there, whatever you like to call it) needs to know that you have space to receive a pregnancy. Remind it, daily, that you are creating that space. Prioritize taking time to take care of yourself. Schedule active rest every day, instead of crashing on the couch at the end of the week and binging on Netflix. Show the universe that there is ample space for all your wildest dreams to come true.
Sending you hugs and baby dust,
Dr K
